STREET ART MURAL:
Deventer 1250 years by Joren Joshua
In the week before June 15, street artist Joren Joshua will paint the facade of a building in Deventer in honor of Deventer 1250 years. Come and have a look during the work, and be welcome at the unveiling of the mural on 15 June.
Joren Joshua
Straight from Rotterdam, Joren Joshua (1990) serves his idiosyncratic and playful illustrations for 'the cool'. In graphically balanced landscapes, dynamic figures pass to reflect on everyday situations. Strongly influenced by street art, graffiti and screen printing, Joren tries to make his mark on commercial and personal assignments, regardless of the shape or format. Joren makes illustrations for various well-known newspapers and has done large murals internationally. Partly through his family, who live here, he has a bond with Deventer. http://jorenjoshua.com/
Street Art Streets
Deventer based Egbert.EGD , together with various street artists, wants to make the cultural city of Deventer even more beautiful by organizing street art in the form of murals and events under the name Street Art Streets. In 2015 he organized the painting of the windmill on the A1 . In 2016 he organized a shopping Sunday event with 10 artists in the city center. In April of this year he organized the Coffee Mural during the LOS festival in the Havenkwartier. And now this mural for 1250 years in Deventer. More plans for the future are ready.
Street art includes all art expressions on the public road that do not belong to the classic graffiti image, nor to official art.
