CORKVILLE // Mark van der Noord
Mark van der Noord (1981) lives and works in Deventer where he runs his studio under the name CorkVille. Because words fail to convey his emotions, vision and opinion to man, he now does so with pen, brush or whatever is available at that moment.
CorkVille produces detailed illustrations, but also develops them into life-size murals.
sgt. Friendly // Sander op den Dries
Sander op den Dries is broadly creative, he has been drawing and painting for years. He makes beautiful murals with aerosol cans and markers.
In addition, he and his partner Camiel Voorn form a creative duo better known as Studio Wonder. Mainly a graphic designer, but also organizes festivals and dance evenings and is, among others, VJ for one of the largest bands in the Netherlands, the State.
Under his alias sgt. Friendly you will not only find him on flyers as a DJ, but he also makes cheerful illustrations and murals.
Will.Yoow illustrator at team #BurningPie. He has been illustrating for years and does this on canvas and on walls.
He works with everything that issues. aerosols, latex, pen & pencil. His style is surrealism mixed with graffiti / street art influences. Will.Yoow lives in Deventer and his work can be followed at www.instagram.com/will.yoow/
Will.Yoow
Tipper
Tikster is a Dutch graffiti artist who is best known for her sleek, wild (typographic) designs and contrasting play of colors.
Over the years, her work has been, and still is, seen throughout Europe and she regularly participates in (international) street art / graffiti events including Just Writing My Name (Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands), Step In The Arena (Eindhoven). and Kings Of Colors (Den Bosch).
In addition, she regularly gives live demonstrations and workshops and her work can be seen on canvas at various (urban) exhibitions.
Yellibeanz // Yelitza Jansen
As long as Yelitza Jansen knows she has been involved in drawing. Where most children stop at a certain age, she continued.
Her drawings are weird and funny and are full of figures, each of which will lead a life of their own. Sometimes in separate images, sometimes in a comic strip.
Color is important in her work and she gets inspiration from social media and medieval images, for example.
Valerie Ardini // 3D printed miniatures
Valerie Ardini graduated in 2006 from the AKI (Enschede) in media art. She lives and works in Deventer as an autonomous visual artist and architectural photographer.
"In my work I am very concerned with the space around us; how people relate to certain spaces, influence them, interact with them, leave their mark in them and what space, the environment, does to people."
During Street Art Streets she will make various small additions and interventions in the public space with her 3D drawn and printed work. Keep an eye on social media for location tips. Twitter | Instagram
AMOK // Niels Wellenberg
Niels Wellenberg works as an independent furniture maker. He designs and makes custom furniture on commission, such as cupboard walls.
He also produces works of art with self-created stencils. In particular, stencils of edited photos can be found in his work.
Suburb Connects // Wild knitters
The now well-known knitting ladies and gentlemen who, led by artist Kim Arntzen, are knitting a Go Ahead Eagles scarf of no less than 3 kilometers, are enjoying themselves this time in the city center. Earlier, as a warm welcome, they packed the house of a new local resident with their scarf.
This time they will knit wildly, especially for Street Art Streets. You will find knitting and embroidery work in places that you do not expect all afternoon.
Tamara Fernandes Art
The works of Tamara Fernandes aim to organize the contemporary chaos of images in which we live, to make them meaningful and (why not) beautiful. Really Pop! Her mind is a rollercoaster of ideas and influences
Tamara Fernandes her paintings are always built from drawing and become colorful and vibrant with every brush stroke.
The artist masters the technical skills of painting and knows how to create energy and emotions in her work through the colors used.
Eelco Cramer // Illy & Didi
Not sketching, not even erasing. Never a ruler or a pencil.
Eelco Cramer started his drawing career in the quiet hours as a wardrobe worker at the Burgerweeshuis.
His characters Illy and Didi experience bizarre adventures, but sometimes just nothing at all. Eelco prefers to draw on beer coasters and filter tips with fineliner.
But at Street Art Streets it turns out big.
